Biography

Aude Van De Keere (2003) is a Belgian pianist, violinist, and composer. She is active as a soloist and chamber musician both at home and abroad, and is regularly invited to prestigious festivals and concert series such as Classissimo, the Belgium Cello Society Festival, the Arte Amanti Festival, Castle Concerts, the Gouda Chamber Music Concerts, and more. Aude has performed with various orchestras in renowned concert halls, including Bozar and the De Singel International Arts Centre.

Her concerts are often broadcast on TV and radio; at the age of eighteen, her interpretation of Chopin’s Third Piano Sonata was aired on Stingray Classica. Aude began her violin studies at the age of five, and three years later, she started taking piano lessons.

In 2014, she entered competitions for the first time and quickly won first prizes for both instruments. At the age of eleven, she was selected for the international chamber music course and festival "Musica Mundi," participating every year from 2015 to 2020. To combine her secondary education with her musical ambitions, she received the AGODI top arts status.

In 2018, Aude passed the entrance exams for the Musica Mundi International School for Young Talents, where she combined her secondary studies with a professional music education under the guidance of Prof. Jacques Rouvier and Hagit Hassid - Kerbel for piano, and Leonid Kerbel for violin.

In June 2021, at the age of eighteen, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Musica Mundi. Three years later, she obtained her Bachelor's degree in piano at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, again graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Aude is currently continuing her studies at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp as a soloist master’s student under the renowned pianist Polina Leschenko, while continuing her violin education with top violinist Aylen Pritchin. She has also studied for six months with Sergio Tiempo and participated in numerous masterclasses, including IMS Prussia Cove, the Jirri Hlinka Piano Academy, Allegro Vivo Festival, Pianolab, and more, with artists such as Menahem Pressler, Kirill Gerstein, Lilya Zilberstein, Lukas Vondracek, Leif Ove Andsnes, and many others. Aude is active in national and international competitions.

In 2019, she won third prize at the international piano competition "Merci Maestro" as the youngest participant in her category. She was appointed Young Ambassador of the Belgian National Orchestra, won the KCA Concerto Competition, and received the Fondation Chopin Prize. She has collaborated with renowned artists, including the famous violinist Gilles Apap, pianist and conductor Diana Kettler, violinist Gordon Nikolic, and composer Jacqueline Fontyn.
